National Instruments – HODs Conclave
National Instruments (India), in association with Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College,
Ghaziabad organized HODs Conclave on 6th June, 2013. The main objective of this
summit was to present NI’s latest tool & techniques to enhance teaching learning
competency in academic Institutions. These tools are used to empower engineers in
emerging countries to enhance their engineering competency and generate new and
high-value jobs. The program focused on nurturing local innovation through partnerships
between LabVIEW Academy and Academic Institutions. It also fosters the need of organization
to build an Industry relevant Student Project Ecosystem in College. The program
witnessed participation from 16 engineering colleges from NCR region and 40 delegates
from these colleges participated in the event. The conclave provided an insight
into the current requirement of manufacturing industries and their expectations
from young engineering graduates. Prof. Ashiv Shah, Head, TIFAC-CORE briefed about
the event and highlighted the need of adapting the innovative technologies for a
better tomorrow. Mr. Karun Jain, Technical Consultant, National Instruments presented
sessions on Nurturing Innovation –Through NI Technologies and Empowering Engineers
– Through Industry-Academia Interface. The sessions have been a great source of
motivation to the delegates. During the conclave, delegates also discussed about
collaborating opportunities with LabVIEW Academy so as to provide customized training
to their engineering graduates.
